Standing slide and Lasagne

I had Steve take pictures and video of Samuel's new trick, just so that should we need to take a trip to the ER, we can show them just how the head injury/broken bone occurred.

Samuel now requests socks without "the sticky part" on the bottom, just so that he can perform this feat.

Shira wanted in on the action, too, of course.

And while Shira and Steve napped this afternoon, Samuel helped me make fresh pasta for lasagne.
I couldn't have done it without him. And remind me to brush my hair before Steve takes any pictures next time.
Oh, and Steve made Samuel a pulley system to haul things up to his bed (thanks Laszlo and Laszlo's Dad, Steve, for this idea). Pictures to come. Samuel immediately wanted to invite a friend over to help him work his pulley. So Mason was called, and we got to share our freshly made lasagne for dinner with Becky, Gil and Mason (while little Julia slept).

glad to see the next generation using the pasta maker. It looks much better than anything we made with it.

you know, every time we take the pasta maker out, Steve talks about how old it is, how it was yours and he used it as a kid.
